When planning a visit to Andalucia most people think of Malaga, Sevilla or Cordoba, or the natural landscape - but only a few are aware that this Spanish region and even Malaga, Sevilla and Cordoba do have a rich industrial history and heritage
There are a number of guides and textbooks available online
Belmez and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo are both situated in the province of Córdoba - which as much to offer to visitors. Of course there is Córdoba itzelf, once capital of Muslim Spain. There are not plenty of hotels in Belmez and Peñarroya - so don’t wait till the last moment to book.
However, we have been able to book 20 rooms at University Residence in Belmez for September, 27 and 28 - including breakfast (see registration form). These will be available on a first come first served basis, although we have to give priority to students taking part in the weekend.

In the region you also have some interesting and nice rural hotels and B&B - but those are generally situated outside the city centers - so you need to have a car to reach them
